Razia Sultana; A transitional carpet.

The original design of this rug belongs to a group of rugs that were woven during the rain of the Mamluk dynasty in Northern India. The star-shaped medallion and ornate geometric pattern are their important characteristics. The designer of this rug is inspired by such rugs and reinterpreted the pattern and colour combination to create a rug that would elegantly blend into modern spaces.
