Wool, natural dyes
This elegant carpet draws from the classical Minakhani design, characterised by repeating lotus motifs that echo the ancient floral patterns seen in the bas-reliefs of Persepolis. Though widely adopted across Persian weaving traditions, it was the city of Varamin that made this layout iconic in urban rug production.
In this unique variation, the timeless lattice of blossoms is enlivened with floral bouquets and birds, an imaginative departure from strict symmetry, attributed to the artistic flair of a creative designer. The use of high-quality wool lends the surface a gentle sheen and supple feel.
Durable and graceful, this piece is built to last through decades of use, its visual appeal deepening with time and wear, a timeless companion for refined interiors.
Wool pile on cotton foundation, naturally dyed, hand-knotted.
