Close to Three million tiny knots are put together over a year by two skilful weavers to create this marvellous classic Persian carpet. The result is a fascinating beauty with a classic intricate pattern. Such symmetry and balance wouldn't have been possible if there were no consistency in the size of the knots.
This rug is made of fine "Kurk" wool and silk on a cotton base.
