Undyed wool on a wool base
This minimalistic rug is handwoven by the Lori tribes of southwestern Iran, who migrate between the western valleys of Mount Zagros and the shores of the Persian Gulf in search of fresh pastures for their herds.
The wool used here comes from their own sheep—handspun and left undyed to preserve its natural character. The soft, earthy tones and subtle variations in texture come entirely from the wool itself, without any added colour.
The result is a rug with a distinctly modern look, yet rooted in centuries-old nomadic tradition. Its honest simplicity and organic feel make it a beautiful addition to both contemporary and classic interiors.
