This rug results from over a decade of endeavour to find the right balance between technology and traditional craftsmanship.
We weave the rugs on the old machines modified to go slow and gentle on the yarn, which is spun in-house. The colours are done in traditional and artisanal ways in small lots to achieve beautiful hues with the slight variation that one can generally observe in hand-made rugs.
After the weaving, the hand-finishing starts. We wash every rug twice to achieve a more lustrous pile and to shed the extras. After the process of washing, these carpets are hand-carved and hand-bonded for the perfect look.
